What began as an ordinary school day turned into a divine moment. We walked into AA Light Academy, Ibadan, with the gospel, love, and a burden to leave these children and their community better than we met them.
The children stood with wide eyes and open hearts as we taught them the Word of God in a way they could understand and remember. We sang and prayed with them and watched as heaven rejoiced when six (6) beautiful souls surrendered their hearts to Christ. The impact didn’t stop with the children; their parents and teachers were strengthened and refreshed by the presence of God. You could see it in their eyes and the warmth of their gratitude after the sessions.
In the same spirit of love, TMC was privileged to pay the third-term school fees for three (3) children, easing the burden on families facing tough times. The Headmistress, overwhelmed with emotion, shared that this was the first time their school had ever experienced something like this. Her joy was honest, and her thanks sincere.
We saw joy, we saw tears and above all, we saw hope rekindled. It reminded us once again why we do what we do. We won’t lose any of these young ones. The harvest is ripe and we’re just getting started.
